This Sunday the sermon is from 1 Kings 21:1-24 – “A Vineyard with a Price-Tag”. “Ahab said to Elijah, ‘Have you found me, O my enemy?” – 1 Kings 21:20

Ahab thought Elijah was his greatest enemy, but in actuality, Elijah was Ahab’s greatest friend. Elijah faithfully delivered the Word of the Lord repeatedly to Ahab. He called upon him to repent, to turn from idols to serve the living and true God. Elijah warned Ahab of the judgment to come. And, Elijah was greatly disturbed over Ahab’s persistent unbelief and hardness of heart. Elijah loved Ahab enough to tell him the truth.
