The name - Illuminate Community Church. The word "illuminate" means, "to shine the light." It's our mission to shine the light on Jesus by knowing Him and making Him known. There are many metaphors in the Bible that use light as a symbol of God's truth. Jesus said this about himself in John 8:12 "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
