James 4:13–14 (NIV84) Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”
• Today or tomorrow – I will control when…..
• We will go to this or that city – I will control where….
• Spend a year there – I will control how long……
• Carry on business – I will control what……
• Make money – I will control my success….
14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
I will believe that God is in control of my life and not me!
James 4:15–17 Instead, you ought to say,“If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. 17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it, sins.
I will trust God and seek his will my life !
A Warning to The Rich
Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. 2 Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. 3 Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire.
1. Hoarding – You have hoarded wealth in the last days
2. Defrauding – The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields
3. Pleasure – You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence
4. Condemned – You have condemned and murdered innocent men, who were not opposing you

Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.
Proverbs 11:25 A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.
I will be generous with my time and my money!
