Focus Verse: Matthew 26:39, 42

Gethsemane: an oil press located at the foot of The Mount of Olives; a place of pressure.

1) Understand the limitations of mankind; you cannot take everybody with you (v. 36-38, Mark 14:37-42).

2) Embrace your cup (the contents and portion that God allows and designed for you); to do the will of God and move forward in what God has for us, we must let go of the past (v. 39a, Philippians 2:5-11).

3) The cup/your cup is designed to assure you and your will are in the proper place within God's will (v. 39b).
