Trinitarians have snared themselves in their own deceit. True believers are God's own begotten children and He is their own Father.

Monogenes is now believed by many academics to be a compound Greek word from: monos + genos (lit. only + kind). However, Trinitarians also claim the word has nothing to do with the notion of begetting. This is folly. The Greek word for begetting is gennao a cognate of genos. You can't have a genos (kind) without a gennao (begetting) and that is why these two words are so closely related. The word is also used of an only human child - that would be a begotten child. Additionally, it seems clear that the 4th century Athanasians in their own writings did themselves understand monogenes to mean "only begotten." And that is why they got the notion the son was begotten before all ages.
