"Holy God, I pledge my loyalty to you. I trust in your promises and will serve you and obey your commands. Amen. For community of faith that are entering a covenant relationships, may that covenant be with You and may they remember to serve You only and get rid of all other idols. I spoke to my father in law today and it seems like he's stuck with an idol of culture and self righteousness. It's not a good place to be in, God. Please open his eyes to his needs for You and may I have the right words to speak to him. May he, and many like him, come to You.
