In this sermon, I will take you back in history. I will take on a journey along the children on God-from Egypt and through the wilderness and eventually to the Promise Land. In this journey there are great spiritual truths that will you help in your own journey to your promised land too.
I spoke of spiritual truths of Egypt and what it can mean to you metaphorically. In addition, I garnered spiritual truths of the wilderness journey and what it means metaphorically to you. And finally, I also gave you few important steps on how you and live in your promised land.
As a believer, you have the power and authority to live in victory. You have the name of Jesus, a name that is above every other name.
Cultivate a habit to trust and obey the leading of the Lord in everything. You might be in the wilderness at this time, don't be dismayed, instead keep your eyes on Jesus. Keep pressing on. As Winston Churchill said, "If you are going through hell, keep going."
Wilderness experiences are part of life, it refines us, it prepares us, it helps us get our priorities right, it separates us and it is a time of listening to God. The wilderness experience might not be comfortable but it is important. Don't stay in the wilderness because it is not the final destination, it is there for a season. Many people never come out of the wilderness and because of that they are not able to live in their promised land.
Be filled with the Holy Spirit, live by faith and go forth with boldness and take back what the enemy has stolen from you,
Pray you are blessed and encouraged through this sermon
