People were created with an innate desire to express themselves. Images, sounds, smells and touch stimulate that desire. These feelings begin to manifest in adolescence. Because the internet is flooded with porn sites, many teen's first experience with that strong, passionate sexual force happen at the same time that they are developing ideas about their sexual identity and preferences.
Culture's view of sex and it's message to us is that sex is no different than any other drive, interest, or desire within you. Therefore, sex should be pursued and satisfied however you please.
In 1st Corinthians 6 12-13, Paul writes, 'I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.” The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.'
There is another vision for sex that is not based on your sexual freedom, not based on satisfying and pleasing your own sexual desire, but rather a vision of sex that is about pleasing God and pleasing your spouse which then satisfies you. Sex is NOT ABOUT YOU, sex is about serving, satisfying, and pleasing the most important persons in life; your spouse and God.
