Our culture is experiencing a dramatic increase in lawlessness, and it is unthinkable certain powerful mayors and governors are opposing our Federal laws. This resistance is organized, systematic, and very intentional. Church, if we continue to let lawlessness flourish, and ignore or cooperate with deception and lies, don’t imagine the violence won’t come to us. The Church is called to shape culture, not to be shaped by the culture. The people of God are intended to be the conscience of the culture, and if the culture’s behavior is not good, it’s because the Church isn’t healthy and vital enough to affect it as we should. We need the power of God to engage the world in which we live—and we all have a role to play.
