Paul reminds us that as children of the New Covenant we are not under the Law. In fact all things are lawful for us. We have no dietary restriction however not all things are helpful, profitable or uplifting. We have to reject the temptation to be self-seeking and remember that as children of the King, His kingdom is our primary pursuit and therefore how we love others is paramount.
