Today’s Verse: Matthew 5:4 (NKJV)
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Jesus’ words cut through grief with a promise: those who mourn will be comforted. The comfort isn’t shallow or temporary; it comes from the very presence of God. To mourn is to feel the weight of loss, the ache of brokenness, and yet to be met by the God who heals hearts and restores hope.
These days, many are mourning deeply. Over the loss of Charlie Kirk, loved ones, national trails, over the brokenness of our world. But even in mourning, God is moving. He is stirring revival, calling people to Himself, and revealing His presence in ways no one can explain apart from Him.
So today, take heart. If you are mourning, know that you are not alone. The Lord Himself has promised to comfort you. And through your grief, He may be preparing a greater outpouring of His Spirit that will awaken hearts across the world.
