Today’s Verse: Matthew 24:10 (NKJV)
“And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.”
Jesus warned that the last days would be marked by broken relationships, betrayal, and hatred. We see glimpses of this even now—in families, friendships, and a culture that elevates self above all else. Offense is everywhere, and if left unchecked, it leads to betrayal and ultimately to hate.
But as followers of Christ, we are called to live differently. We cannot allow offense to take root in our hearts. We cannot repay betrayal with betrayal, or hate with hate. Instead, we are called to forgive, to intercede, and to walk in the power of the Spirit who enables us to love even our enemies.
So today, ask the Lord to guard your heart. Release every offense into His hands. Pray for the salvation of those who have hurt you. And let His Spirit cleanse you of bitterness, filling you instead with peace, forgiveness, and love.
