Today’s Verse: Psalm 63:8 (NKJV)
“My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me.”

David prayed this while fleeing for his life, yet his words reveal deep confidence in God’s sustaining hand. He longed to follow hard after the Lord, but he also knew he could only do so because God’s right hand upheld him.

We are the same. Left to ourselves, we wander, stumble, and grow weary. But the strength to pursue Him does not come from us—it comes from Him. His hand steadies us, lifts us, and keeps us close.

So today, pray this into your life: “Lord, make my soul follow close behind You. Uphold me with Your right hand.” Trust that the same God who strengthened David is holding you now. Let His hand guide your steps and give you confidence to walk closely with Him.
