LIFT Daily Prayer: Day 248: Walk in Wisdom

Today’s Verse: Proverbs 26:4 (NKJV)
“Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him.”

Not every argument deserves your response. Scripture reminds us that when we engage with foolishness, we risk looking foolish ourselves. Wisdom often means silence—choosing not to debate, not to retaliate, not to be dragged into empty disputes.

The world is loud with folly. People argue in ignorance, pride, or hostility, often baiting Christians to respond in anger. But God calls us to walk in wisdom, to answer carefully—or sometimes, not at all. The Spirit will give discernment when to speak and when to remain silent.

So today, pray for wisdom in your conversations. Guard your witness. Don’t be provoked into foolish debates. Instead, let your words be seasoned with grace, your silence filled with strength, and your life marked by the wisdom of God.
