Today we look at Genesis 24-25:11. The LORD had blessed Abraham in every way and he lived 175years, being satisfied with life. As Abraham approaches the time of his death he wants to do one last thing, find a bride for his son Isaac. He knows that Isaac shouldn't go back to Mesopotamia, the land that Abraham left, and that Isaac shouldn't find a wife from among the Canaanites, the land where they are living as strangers. What should he do? It turns out nothing has changed for Abraham, he still needs to live by faith in his old age, remembering that the LORD provides for Himself.
