Sermon Summary

In the first of three sermons that seek to help define our vision for ministry, we take a look ahead with an over view of the 3D Discipleship paradigm, and just what it means to be a disciple, both as individual Christians, and together as a whole church body.

Series Summary

With the start of a New Year, it's beneficial to review where we are, and where we're going. It's helpful to regain a sense of why we do what we do in order to accomplish the mission that God has given us: to make disciples. Here at Parkview, we seek to do that using the 3D Discipleship paradigm – Discover, Develop, Deploy.

These three concepts are illustrated with three overlapping circles, giving us a visual representation of what discipleship looks like, and how we can continually pursue it in our own lives, and share it with others.

As we start 2022, we will look at our purpose and mission – to make disciples – and our specific strategy – 3D Discipleship. We will take a look at how we can see this playing out in the year ahead of us, and in the three, four, five years to come.
