Ever suffer from unanswered prayer?
Not a YES.
You and everyone else.
Something messed up with that?
You probably handled it just like Jesus did and got really stressed out.
Luke 22 :41-44
41And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray, 42saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.” 43Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him. 44And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.
Okay to stress out over unanswered prayer if you handle it like Jesus did.
1. make your request: sense of “Father if you are willing.”
Not demanding
2. not likely an angel appears but, better yet, Holy Spirit
Strengthens you
3. still may be in agony
Keep your faith in God your Father
He loved you enough to save you
He loved you enough to adopt you into His family.
Keep the faith.
God obviously does not promise to answer every prayer yes, even for Jesus.
He does promise you that in the end – we win.
