(Luke 4: 18-19) (Luke 4: 32-32) - IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT ABOUT US, AND TO BE UNGEDED TO PREACH THE GOSPEL,
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, For he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted,
To preach freedom to the captives, And restoration of sight to the blind, To set at liberty the oppressed, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
(Luke 4: 18,19)
32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Dear brothers in Christ, it is with great joy that we are studying the word of God together with you, in the presence of the CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, in the presence of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and in the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT.
To speak of the Gospel is wonderful because we are talking about a spiritual project. The Gospel means "Good Noas", as we have already said, and it is a project of GOD for the salvation of man, for the recovery of the human race, GOD made man, according to the image of GOD.
But man, before falling into sin, had a good conscience, where only love filled this consciousness. But with the introduction of sin into the life of man, the consciousness of man has been changed, man now has an evil conscience, which was acquired through the prince of this world who is the devil and his angels.
But the Gospel is God's plan to restore human consciousness. Before man fell into sin, everything was easy, and everything was simple, because man was spiritual, and the spirit that dwelt in man, was the spirit of God, the opposite of the evil spirit, which dominates this world.
The man before he fell, he had all things, because he had the spirit of God in him, and the spirit of God is self sufficient. He has life in himself, and he also has everything that sustains life, by the word of God.
In today's study, we will see what life is like for those who are transformed. That they do not go through difficulties, because they have within them the spirit of God, and consequently the word of God is also inserted in the human consciousness, and the word of God is passed on to those who have the HOLY SPIRIT through their conscience.
Because consciousness is the character. What character, my character, what is inside me, my character, my purposes, everything comes from GOD. When we can get the HOLY SPIRIT to act within our consciousness in a full way, then there are no more difficulties.
In Luke's Gospel, chapter 4, and verse 4 it is written thus: "AND JESUS HAVE RESPONDED HIM, SAYING, IT IS WRITTEN, NOT ONLY ON BREAD, THE MAN SHALL LIVE, BUT FROM ALL THE WORD OF GOD."
Dear brothers in Christ is undoubtedly a wonderful message, because it clarifies very well, those who have the spirit of GOD, and those who do not have the spirit of GOD. Those who are part of the body of Christ, and in the KINGDOM OF GOD, live by the word of God.
We of the LIBERTOS FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST, we are witnesses of the words that the HOLY SPIRIT speaks through our conscience, the accomplishments we have through the word of the HOLY SPIRIT, and we have great joy when the HOLY SPIRIT guides us, what to do in all situations. Now we understand what it means: "NOR ONLY OF BREAD WILL LIVE THE HOME, BUT OF ALL THE WORD OF GOD."
Here in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 4, verse 18 and 19, Jesus Christ clarifies what it is to receive the HOLY SPIRIT, and to be directed through the words of the HOLY SPIRIT, where HE says thus: "THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS ABOUT ME" .
Dear brothers, JESUS CHRIST operated all those miracles, because the HOLY SPIRIT was about Him. So if we have the HOLY SPIRIT in our consciousness, we will do what Jesus did.
HE continues: "FOR I GAVE MYSELF TO EVANGELIZE THE POOR." Pay attention well, the HOLY SPIRIT does not waste time to anoint someone to become a millionaire, the role of the HOLY SPIRIT is specific, to preach the Gospel, to preach the KINGDOM OF GOD, to preach THE LOVE AND THE JUSTICE OF GOD.
Continuing: "He sent me to heal the brokenhearted, He sent me to preach liberty to the captives, to give sight to the blind, and to set the freedoms free, and to proclaim the gospel of salvation today (to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord)."
Notice that this message of verse 18 and 19 complements the message of verse 4. Because of verse 4, it says that God provides everything for human life, and verse 18 and 19 speaks about the works that the HOLY SPIRIT does in us, as He acts, and for what purpose He acts. He always acts to bring people to the KINGDOM OF GOD, giving him what is necessary for life, and healing them from their diseases, and delivering them from their problems
