Mark 6:30-56

VERSE OF THE DAY: As soon as they got out of the boat, people recognized Jesus.—Mark 6:54

Jesus feeds the 5,000. No big deal for Him, because He can do a lot with a little. We should know that by now, but it is an impressive reminder. Jesus walks on water (WHAAAAT?) and heals the sick in Gennesaret (again, WHAAAAAT?), "as many as touched even the fringe of His garment were made well." Question: Do you believe in Jesus and trust Him to the degree that the people in Gennesaret believed? Are you a Gennesaretian (Mk 6:53-56) or a Nazarethian (Mk 6:1-6)? (you're welcome).

REFLECTION:
• How did they know who Jesus was?
• Reputation?
• The people with him?
• The description of his appearance?
• If Jesus walked in right now, would you recognize Him?

Q's: Do people see Jesus in you? When you show up, is Jesus with you? What Christ-like characteristics would people use to describe you?
