Mark 7:1-23

VERSE OF THE DAY: All these evils come from inside and defile a person.—Mark 7:23

Jesus teaches today on the traditions of men versus the commandments of God. He goes further in explaining that what defiles people comes from the condition of their hearts, not what they put in their bodies. QUESTION: If it is true that "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Mt. 12:34), what would you say your heart has been full of this week?

• The evil inside will produce evil fruit.
• Guard your thoughts, heart, and actions.
• Be careful what you let in.
• Don’t let the seeds of corruption hang around.
• ONE ACTION DOES NOT DEFINE YOU.
• But everyday choices declare who you are.
• Don’t be a slave to bad choices.
