Matthew 21:31) - THE PUBLICANS AND THE MERETRICES WILL ENTER IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVENS FIRST THAT THE HYPOCRITES.

Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, The tax collectors and the harlots go before you into the kingdom of God.
For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him; But when you saw this, you did not repent to believe it.
(Matthew 21: 31,32)

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
(Acts 16:31)

Dear brothers in Christ, it is with great joy that we are studying the word of God together with you, in the presence of the CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH, in the presence of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and in the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT.

When Jesus was in this world, and He was exercising His ministry, He encountered much difficulty with people who at that time were lawyers. They were the people who taught religion at the time. However, that religiosity they exercised made them spiritually blind. For they did not understand spiritual things, they only understood much of the laws and obligations, and made of these laws, obligations, a very heavy burden, which they themselves did not carry, but lived by appearances.

The ministry of the Lord Jesus, to these people was as if it were in the opposite hand, on the opposite side of what they understood. They believed that in order to be saved, it was necessary to fulfill all those laws that they themselves did not fulfill. But they felt important for being the master of the laws. And because they were masters, they used the assignment they had to apply the laws, judge, and condemn people.

In today's study, we will see what Jesus said to these people, and as JESUS saw the position of those masters regarding the position of the population considered impure, unworthy, who did not observe the laws, did not fulfill the rituals, were considered persons without any condition of attaining the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Then there were two classes of well-defined people, on the one hand, the Pharisees, and the Sadducees, who represented two religious factions at the time. And the publicans, and the harlots, and every one that was considered without law, and without knowledge of the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Here in the Gospel of Matthew, in chapter 21, and in verse 31, only the second part. JESUS CHRIST addressing the teachers of the law said: "IN TRUTH I SAY YOU, THE PUBLISHERS AND THE MERETRISTS ENTER AHEAD OF YOU IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD."

You see, dear brothers in CHRIST, how JESUS went straight, and did not use a diplomatic language to tell them that they, with all their religiousness, did not enter heaven first, but the publicans who were non-religious in era, and whores that has always been a fully discriminated class. But the Lord Jesus at that time valued more who had no religion, and prostitutes than the teachers of the law.

In verse 32, JESUS explains why He was valuing the publicans and the merits more, see how Jesus said: "FOR JOHN THE BAPTIST CAME TO YOU ON THE WAY OF JUSTICE (HE WAS FAIR), AND YOU DO NOT CREST. MERETRICES BELIEVE YOU, AND YOU WERE BY SEEING THIS, NEITHER AFTER YOU REPENT THEM TO BELIEVE IN HIM. "

See, dear brothers, again. The lawyers did not believe in John the Baptist, nor did they believe in JESUS CHRIST, so they could not enter into the KINGDOM OF GOD. But those who did not understand religion and did not know the laws, which were publicans and harlots, they believed. And by believing, they inherited the KINGDOM OF GOD.

Then, to enter into the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, you first have to believe. And then the HOLY SPIRIT WHO prepares and changes necessary to enter into the KINGDOM OF GOD.

In Acts of the Apostles, chapter 16, and verse 31. It is written, "CREATE IN THE LORD JESUS, AND HE SHALL BE SAVED, AND YOUR HOUSE."
We are using this verse to clarify that we are living in the time of Grace, and that we do not have to pay anything to enter into the KINGDOM OF GOD. We do not have to fulfill any question, and that everyone can enter into the KINGDOM OF GOD, even those who have no religion, and prostitutes, need only believe, as in the case of those publicans and harlots, who believed in John the Baptist, and also believed in LORD JESUS.

Mary Magdalene was a prostitute, and she believed in JESUS CHRIST, and I love the Lord Jesus, with all my heart. And I believe that when Jesus referred to the harlots, they were referring also to Mary Magdalene.

Dear brothers in CHRIST, we of the www.libertospeloamordecristo.com.br were called to preach to those who are not religious, to prostitutes, to gays, to lesbians, to those who are amassed, who are not officially married, and who can not regularize their situation at any moment, but have heart, and know that they are unworthy, but believe in JESUS CHRIST, and believe in SALVATION.
