1 Timothy 6:9-10
9. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
Next video will be the second part 1 Timothy 6:11-12.
This is an important passage to remember. In this world where people idolize money, it's essential to keep in mind this verse. Recognize that it does not say that money is the root of all evil, but the LOVE of money. We can work and earn and support ourselves without putting all of our faith and trust into our wealth. Trust God, be thankful for your blessings, and always pass some along.
