This is Joseph from Sanctuary Family Farms. I don't know about you, but I find myself sometimes struggling with guilt – with feeling like I've done myself in with my choices and that I've dug myself into a hole that I can't get out of. But this is what it says in Nehemiah 1:8-9,
“Remember, I beseech thee. The word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations: but if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.”
This is extremely powerful and shows how redemptive our God is. But even more so, a friend like this, the same who leaves the 99 to find the one, is one worth staying in His presence. To remain gathered in His name. I don't want to be in a cyclical pattern of self-destruction. I don't want to test His grace and forgiveness. I want to keep His commandments, and allow His faithfulness to bring me home when I cannot for He is the only one capable of bringing us back.
Thank you and have a blessed day.
