Today’s Scripture is found in the Gospel of John,
chapter 15, verses 14 and 15.

“You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
No longer do I call you servants,
for a servant does not know what his master is doing;
but I have called you friends,
for all things that I heard from My Father
I have made known to you.”


I have titled today’s message; “My Friend”
As I began to consider and prayerfully seek what God had for us to hear,
I couldn’t help focusing on our recent celebration of Valentine’s Day.
The more I thought about what exactly it has represented to me over the years,
I kept coming back to Love and Friendship.
Particularly the way they relate to us as followers of Jesus.
