Some of the best players in the world were not always champions in their sport. They started out rough around the edges with the hint of talent straddling the surface. That raw talent had to be tamed, refined, developed and forced out from it's hiding place by a wise coach who has an eye for talent.
Hebrews 12:10-11, “They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it”.
