Tekhelet the rare biblical blue of the high priest garments. One of the colors of the tabernacle veils and the colors of Herod's Temple. This rare blue color comes from the small creature found only in the Mediterranean Sea - the Chilazon. This blue color is mentioned in connection with the Tallit, the four cornered garment with one blue cord in the Tiztiz.

And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye go not about after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go astray; that ye may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy unto your God. Exodus 26:31 And thou shalt make a veil of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; with cherubim the work of the skillful workman shall it be made.

Exodus 28:31-33 And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue. And it shall have a hole for the head in the midst thereof; it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of a coat of mail that it be not rent.
