Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon;

Good morning! Here is today’s word of blessings for you.
Psalm 148:1-3, and 10-14

1 Praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
praise him in the heights above.
2 Praise him, all his angels;
praise him, all his heavenly hosts.
3 Praise him, sun and moon;
10 wild animals and all cattle,
small creatures and flying birds,
11 kings of the earth and all nations,
you princes and all rulers on earth,
12 young men and women,
old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
for his name alone is exalted;
his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
14 And he has raised up for his people a horn,
the praise of all his faithful servants,
of Israel, the people close to his heart.

Today's title is “Praise Him Praise Him”

When we look around the world we live in, we can see a lot of different things such as heaven and earth, animals and flowers, light and darkness, and life and death. Some of such things as water and fire, light and darkness, and life and death look so opposite that they don’t have anything in common. But do they really have nothing in common? Not at all. The Bible shows that they have all come from the same creator. They all praise God in their own ways. There is a beautiful story that proves it in the book of Judges. “8 One day the trees went out to anoint a king for themselves. They said to the olive tree, ‘Be our king.’9 “But the olive tree answered, ‘Should I give up my oil, by which both gods and humans are honored, to hold sway over the trees?’ 10 “Next, the trees said to the fig tree, ‘Come and be our king.’ 11 “But the fig tree replied, ‘Should I give up my fruit, so good and sweet, to hold sway over the trees?’ 12 “Then the trees said to the vine, ‘Come and be our king.’ 13 “But the vine answered, ‘Should I give up my wine, which cheers both gods and humans, to hold sway over the trees?’ (Judges 9:8-13). Certainly, it is not only trees that would say such things. With the right knowledge of the reason for their own existence and purpose, everything in the universe whether they are big or small, high or lowly should give thanks to the Lord and praise the creator God who brought them into existence in the same way. Today’s psalm is an exhortation of such universal praises to the Lord our God the creator. Nothing in heaven and on earth should withhold their praises for God. God deserves the praise. He loves the praises. He blesses those who praise Him by raising up their horns. Occasionally, there is a few who got sidetracked from the universal road of praises. We see such an example in the parable of trees. “ Finally all the trees said to the thornbush, ‘Come and be our king.’
15 “The thornbush said to the trees, ‘If you really want to anoint me king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, then let fire come out of the thornbush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!’ (Judges 9:14-15). The thorn bush which is the most unfitting tree dares to hold sway over the trees without giving praises to the Lord. We know that the thorn bush is nothing but the devil who dares to take the place of God the creator. It cannot. It should not. How about us? Are we praising God our creator in the way He should be? If we keep quiet, the stones will cry out as the Lord Jesus said(Luke 19:40).
