Welcome to the first Sunday morning of 2021! 2020 was a year rocked by COVID-19; racial unrest; mistrust in government agencies, public officials, and long-standing voting systems and methods; businesses closing due to the national pandemic; and record numbers of Americans out of work. Amid all the uncertainty, many people have been saying they are praying - The question is, how many understand what prayer is?

Besides reviewing the Biblical explanation of prayer based on Philippians 4:6-7, Pastor Larry Smith provides the groundwork for explaining why prayer is the foundation for change in 2021. We will only see a difference when we, as God’s people, take the time to grow and develop a deep personal relationship with Jesus.
