Isaiah was sent with a message (Isaiah 6:9)
Isaiah was given the content of his message (Isaiah 6:10)
Isaiah was given the duration of his message (Isaiah 6:11-12)
Just like Isaiah, every Christian is sent with a message (Matthew 28:19)
Our message is calling men lose their lives for Christ’s sake (Matthew 16:24-25) and, if they do, to baptize them
Just like Isaiah, every Christian is given the content of his message (Matthew 28:20a)
So should we only teach the words of Jesus Christ in the Gospels? Not at all (Matthew 13:52)
Just like Isaiah, every Christian is given the duration of his message (Matthew 28:20b)
But if we are to obey the duration of this message, we must preach the gospel of the kingdom (Matthew 24:14)
