Psalm 62:12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.

How can God say he will give us what we worked right after saying mercy belongs to him? Mercy will overlook the sinful work of our hands while paying us what we earned will result in our death (separation from God). How then does God give mercy while paying us for what we worked? In steps Jesus.

John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, *This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent*.

When we do this work, the work of the heart, then and only then will God pay us what we "worked" for and yet grant us mercy. Do the work of God... Believe on Christ. Be blessed.
