Psalm 89:48 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

The question above of: What man is he that *liveth* and shall not see death... finds its answer in Jesus. Consider his word:

John 11:26 And whosoever *liveth* and believeth in me *shall NEVER die*.....

But before "that man" that "liveth" came alive, he needed to saved from the hand (power) of the grave.

This is not about any of us dying physically and being raised from the dead in future... no! Its about the FACT that we all *"were dead"*, i.e. in the grave already, until we received Jesus:

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, *though he were dead*, yet shall he live:

Ephesians 2:1 And you He made alive, who *were dead* in trespasses and sins,

"Were dead" is past tense.. because thats our past, we were dead in sin and now we are ALIVE in Christ. He redeemed us from the power of the grave. Death.. where is your sting? Selah!
