Women have been disproportionately affected by the stress and disruption of the pandemic. Yet in a prophetic way, it’s women that have also been responsible for holding things together in our homes, offices, and health care systems as they work feverishly to adjust to the world and work of restrictions and remedies. When Israel is faced with a plague of its own and a fearful King—it’s the women whom God uses to subvert and overcome the power of Egypt in order to ultimately save His people. On Sunday, we celebrate our mother’s and all the women in our lives who are used by God to show us His love by their faith and courage in Him.
