So often, when we find ourselves in a pit, it has much to do with sin. Maybe it is our own sin or maybe it is the sin of another against us, it is sin, nonetheless. And where sin is present, a pit awaits. So how is sin resolved? How is forgiveness given and received from the pit? And how does our relationship with God shape our forgiveness with others, even if they are the ones who put us in the pit?
