Have you been resisting the rest you need?
God modeled a rhythm of working for six days and resting on the seventh. In Week 7 of the Mustard Sermon Series, Pastor Mike delivered his final message before his annual sabbatical, reminding us that rest is a standard, not a suggestion. We were created to work from a place of rest. Our prayer is that you allow our Great Shepherd to lead you beside still waters in this season.
As Pastor Michael enters this time of restoration, he encouraged us to do three things:
Plan a weekly day of rest
2. Schedule an extended time of rest this year
3. Stay committed to the house of God while he is away
