We are witnesses of the Word to the World.

"...you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses..." Acts 1:8

We must study Revelation with eyes wide open.

Revelation 10:1-7
Our message is universal.
We proclaim the universal lordship of Jesus Christ and the urgent need for everyone to repent from sin and believe the good news.

Revelation 10:8-11
Our message is bittersweet.
We proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus even as we warn of coming doom for all who reject the Lord Jesus.

Revelation 11:1-14
Our message is our mission.
We witness the Word to the world until Christ returns or calls us home.

Three Truths (Daniel Green, Moody Bible Commentary)
1. No believer will be taken from the earth before God's purpose for Him is complete.
2. Those who suffer will be satisfied with God's righteous punishment of their tormentors.
3. God's mercy is so great as to break through to some of the most hardened sinners.
