Revelation 18:20-19:18

In this study, Pastor Kevin reviews the prophetic destruction of Babylon in chapter 18 and then covers the first 16 verses of Chapter 19, which relate as they record the heavenly host rejoicing in the global system of man being destroyed.

Verses six and sixteen of Chapter 20 are examples of this joy:

Rev 19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

Rev 19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

These two verses and others in Revelation inspired Handel when he wrote Handel’s Messiah Hallelujah Chorus.
