Our text this morning is Revelation 19:17 - 20:3 which gives a description of a very brief "war" that is basically over before it starts, though the carnage is of a scale the world has never seen.

In this section John shows us all those in opposition to God are put down at the beginning of His 1000 year reign. It serves as a reminder that justice will not always be delayed or denied, rebellion will have it's day, and be crushed.

Some see this passage, and all it describes, and long for that day. Others mock and laugh it off as fairy tale. Oddly enough, the same mockers who may believe in some understanding of "god" think there is somehow "justice" but here the Living God tells us who the participants are and how He deals with these matters.
