This passage consists of two parts. First, Paul sends greetings to and from a variety of people. These greetings serve to strengthen Paul’s relationship with a church that he had never visited but whose support he was seeking. Second, Pauls closing doxology (16:25-27) reminds us of the power of the gospel and of Paul’s role in preaching it to the glory of God.
