P. Chuck Brookey

Only God is righteous. Any other righteousness is a false righteousness. It is the righteousness of God that is given to us. Both impputed to us and imparted to us, because the law could not justify us (Rom. 3:20). That is impute righteousness to us and the law could not impart righteounsess to us because what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh (Rom. 8:3). This righteouness of God that was previously concealed, but was witnessed by the law and the prophets. That is the law (The 5 books of Moses) and the prophets, That is David who was a type of Christ, because he was a King wrote about Christ in the Old Testament (Ps. 22) and Moses who was a savior for Israel wrote about Christ (Deut. 18:15) or Melchezidek who was a high priest forever, like Christ who is our high priest.
