Romans 9: 24-29
John 1:12 - John 8:43
Believers were the elected sons and daughters, Jew or Gentile that were given the Holy Spirit after the cross. Those that were not yet followers of Christ, Either Jew or Gentile; were unable to hear the truth because it was not in them. To God, Being a Jew didn’t give you special privilege just because you were Jewish, no more than you were considered Gods elect because you were an Israelite living in Jerusalem. In Gods eyes, it gave you no more of a position or authority because of an inherited right by man’s laws.
Romans 9:24-26
This certainly did not exclude the Jew, but it did include anyone who believed. Many Jews felt the inclusion of Gentiles was inappropriate, and held onto their beliefs, however. They became the element of those that were hard of hearing, and had hardened their hearts against Christ and his followers.
Jesus said that Satan was the father of lies and there was no truth in him. It was the will of God to include all people, and “his children” was the election by faith, not by inheritance. He called those who were not of his people , He reached out to all the world with mercy and grace. His election was to stand Just as it did in the day of Esau and the Edomites. God is all seeing, omniscient, and ominipotent.
Romans 9:11 -Romans 10:12
“For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.”
Romans 1:32
FAITH justifies believers into the realm of the supernatural through this power extended.
The Remnant was selected;
ONLY BY FAITH IN CHRIST
It made no difference to God whether you were:
Jew / Gentile
Circumcised / Uncircumcised.
Free / Bond
Romans 15:16 - Romans 16:25
A mystery kept throughout the beginning of time.
Ephesians 3:5-6 - Ephesians 3:8-9 - Ephesians 2:12-14
Together we are the “One New Man” in Christ
The Jews had lost their way, the sense of who they were to God. There was a covenant promise that was to be kept, and without Christ, there was no hope for the aliens from whom Jews considered strangers. Now by the blood covenant, all could receive salvation through Christ. Christ risked it all, gave it all, as willed by our merciful God. Mankind was reconciled no longer strangers.
Ephesians 2:15 - Ephesians 2:16-19
This “One New Man” was the sons and daughters of the Highest, the election of God’s grace and mercy made by faith, not flesh. The observation was made that even though the children of Israel were a great number, and how much greater in number were the gentiles; an elect remnant of a righteous seed was a promise made by the hand of God. Otherwise; surely we all would have fallen much like that of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Romans 9:27-29
The importance of the vast numbers of Jews or gentiles made little notice to God. It was by FAITH that God selected Jacob, It was by a Faith solution that Isaac was born, and it will be by HIS Grace and Mercy that One New Man arises out of Faith in Christ.
Isaiah 10:21-23 -Isaiah 37:32
The righteousness was an election made by FAITH and out of Jerusalem Jews will seek Christ, and it was by their own hand and hardened hearts that Christ was unknown. He was the Rock of their Offense; Our cornerstone to New Jerusalem, and one that was hidden to Jews up until the last generation.
