8:2 For the law (principle) of the Spirit of life (being filled w/ the H.S.) has set you free (v. aai) in Christ Jesus (He disempowered the O.S.N.) from the law (principle) of (perpetual) sin and (temporal) death.

Romans 7:22-23 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, 23) but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin (OSN) that dwells in my members.

Romans 8:6 To set the mind on the flesh is death (functionally dead) but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

8:3-4 For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. Romans 8:13 for if you are living according to the flesh (OSN), you must die; but if by the Spirit (filled w/ the H.S.) you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
