Can we be saved by the righteousness of others, while we ourselves live in sin? Romans 6 vs 1-2 makes it clear "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God Forbid...." The Bible also says the prayer of a righteous man avails much but we should as individuals work out our own salvation because God wants us to have our own personal experience with Him. Your mother, father, brother, and sister may be praying for you but their righteousness will not save you... You have a responsibility for your own salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord who died that we may have life eternal. Start today by surrendering to Jesus your all.
