Luke 11:1-4 – “Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. 2) So He said to them, “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 3) Give us day by day our daily bread. 4) And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And do not lead us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.”
James 5:16b - 18 “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17) Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18) And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.”
Psalm 103:20-22 - “Bless the LORD, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word. 21) Bless the LORD, all you His hosts, you ministers of His, who do His pleasure. 22) Bless the LORD, all His works, in all places of His dominion. Bless the LORD, O my soul!”
