The title of our new sermon series is “Committed.” In a world where FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) makes us commitment-phobic we heed the divine and counter-cultural call to commit. Whatever it is to which we commit ourselves will both grow and it will grow us. So to what do we as the family of Chestnut Street Baptist Church commit?

"I've got that joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart..." You might have sung this as a child but do you experience it as an adult? We spend our lives pursuing joy, where is it to be found? This Sunday we will sing: "For my joy is this / Oh the cause of Christ." What does this mean? How can this joy be ours? Join us Sunday as we explore this question.
