What does it mean to ‘heed the word of God?’ Does it mean to simply hear the word of God and then go merrily on our way thinking that what we heard was good, or even pleasant? The question for us today is are we heeding the word of God or is it to us like 'a lovely song' that we listen to and then do not do what it says? We must not only hear the word of God, but we must pay attention and then do what it says.
