It is in our nature as human beings to want to be independent. As we raise our children we teach them to be able to stand on their own - to help them become independent. Is that always a good thing? When it comes to living life, certainly that is important. But when it comes to serving the Lord it becomes something that we have to unlearn. We must learn to lean on Jesus and be dependent upon Him.
