Pilgrims. What is a pilgrim? Someone who is just passing through. A resident alien. Passing through what? Passing through time, through this life. What hope do we have as pilgrims? We have the promise from Jesus Himself of a permanent place prepared for us in heaven by Christ Himself. We have tremendous hope in Him, a hope beyond this life. A hope of permanence.
