Sometimes we have to start over again in our relationships with Jehovah God.
We have to humble ourselves, swallow our pride, admit we have sinned and on our knees, repent before the LORD God Jehovah! Because of the sacrifice of Jesus the lamb of God we can receive forgiveness for our sins. But for the children of Israel, repentance was not that easy. It was more complicated. They had to go before a Holy priest and present from their own livestock an innocent animal as a sacrifice for their sins to obtain forgiveness, mercy and grace. So a Temple was buildit in Jerusalem so that the children of Israel could have ready access to their God Jehovah and obtain mercy, grace, and forgiveness and NEW beginnings.
