REVELATION CHAPTER 1 (continued):
The Prophecies… Verses 11-20  Messages to the Seven Churches in Asia (modern day Turkey).
Verse 12… Seven golden candlesticks found in (verse 20): they are defined as “the seven churches”. 
Verse 13… In the midst of the churches is Jesus!
Matthew 18:20 … Matthew 28:20…
Verse 14… His head and hair white like wool…like snow.
Daniel 7:9 … Daniel 10:6…
Verse 15… His feet like brass; and His voice like many waters.
Ezekiel 43:2… Psalm 29:3…
Verse 16… The seven stars found in verse 20….they are the “messengers” of the seven churches – called Angels and referred in the Bible as the ones sent to minister to the heirs of salvation.
Hebrews 1:13-14…
Verse 17… When John saw him, he fell at His feet as a dead man.

Verse 18… Jesus is alive forevermore, and has the keys!

Verse 20… “Mystery” – a truth which has not yet been revealed.
