The Sanhedrin Court that had lied, plotted, schemed, and framed Jesus, the Messiah before the people, and convinced the Roman occupying governor to execute him... was given a chance by Jesus, the innocent Jewish Rabbi, and the living Son of GOD, (that they had executed)... to repent of their sins. Deacon Stephen was apprehended by the "shady court". And while they were attempting to also slander him for ministering in Jesus's name... under the anointing of the Holy Ghost Jesus Christ the Word of GOD worded his mouth, and he let them know that they were wrong, and had killed the promise Messiah. They had a chance to acknowledge their sins against the Son of GOD, but the devil in them turned them into ravaging beast, like lions and they attacked and killed Deacon Stephen.

The point of this lesson is that GOD gives everyone a chance to acknowledge his sovereignty and repent... even the murderers of his innocent SON.
